Friends of the Turtle Lake Public Library

The Friends of the Turtle Lake Public Library (FTLPL) was incorporated in 2009.
A board of directors was formed and the group immediately started fundraising.
 

Although the primary purpose at this time is to raise money to build a much needed larger library, the Friends have a vested interest in supporting the library in the following ways: 

• Maintain an association of persons interested in good library service

• Promote the growth, development and greatest possible use of the Turtle Lake Public Library

• Create public interest in the Turtle Lake Public Library

• To increase knowledge and a better understanding of the resources, services, operations and needs of the Turtle Lake Public Library

• To enable the Turtle Lake Public Library to enhance services, expand programs and add new dimensions that maximize the Library’s role and usefulness in the community

• To enrich the library’s resources through funds derived from memberships and special projects

• To encourage gifts of books and other materials which will be compatible with the objectives of the library

• To encourage endowments and bequests

• To expand and improve the Turtle Lake Public Library building structure

$17,000 Fundraiser Challenge:
The Friends of the Library will be awarded $17,000 toward the new building fund, IF they are able to raise $17,000 by March 1st, 2013.
If the goal of $17,000 is met by March 1st, 2013, the Friends will receive an additional $17,000!!

Join the Effort and Help the Friends of the Library raise $17,000 by March 1st, 2013.
Success will amount to $34,000 toward the new Public Library Building!!

• Stock Application: For $50.00 you can own one (1) share of stock in the Turtle Lake Public Library.
