Local Parks Village Park Accesses off of Maple Street North and Pine Street just south of Hwy. 8 & 63. This is the Village's main park where most events are held all throughout the year. The park is utilized by residents and visitors alike. The park offers overnight camping and picnic shelters. For more information regarding these accommodations, please click here.
Railway Park This park is located along Railway Avenue and Maple Street in the downtown business district. Improvements were made in the park in 1996 by adding a shelter and landscaping. The area had previously been the location for the Turtle Lake Train Depot. The train tracks still run through the park as the Cattail Trail and to the east of the park heading north and south is the snowmobile trail. This park offers a picnic area and a welcoming lawn to enjoy on sunny days. Bring a lunch, a book, a Frisbee... simply enjoy the scenic area downtown.
West Side Park The park is located off of Ostermann Drive and Elizabeth Court on the western side of the Village. It provides a playground area, open lawn and a picnic shelter for the neighborhood residents and visitors. The park was established in 1999 after land was donated by Milton and Bud Ostermann.
Hartzell Memorial Field
This softball field was established in 19 and serves the area as a community playing field. Leagues, schools, residents, and visitors are welcome to use the field. Groups should check with the Village Hall prior to game time as there is a coordinated playing schedule. The park hours are from to . Questions relating
